Meteorological Disasters in Guangzhou emergency headquarters decided to start the Class IV emergency response of meteorological disasters (thunderstorm, gale and rainstorm) in Guangzhou at 12: 35 on the 6th.
Affected by the southerly approach to the strong thunderstorm cloud belt, it is expected that around 13: 00, Yuexiu District and Tianhe District of Guangzhou will turn into strong thunderstorms, with accumulated rainfall of 30-50 mm, accompanied by short-term gale and strong lightning of magnitude 8 or so. From 12: 24 on the 6th, the yellow warning signals of rainstorm and thunderstorm and gale came into effect in Yuexiu District and Tianhe District of Guangzhou, and the possibility of upgrading the warning signals was not ruled out later. At present, the yellow warning signals of rainstorm and thunderstorm and gale in Nansha, Panyu, Haizhu and Liwan districts, and the yellow warning signal of thunderstorm and gale in Huangpu district are in effect.
