Can the "Sleep Order" issued recently by the Ministry of Education save children’s sleep?

The Ministry of Education recently issued a "sleep order", which made clear requirements for the bedtime of primary and secondary school students, causing great concern among parents. At present, the New Deal has entered the implementation stage. How will the school arrange the schedule? Will the teacher leave less homework for the students? How should parents urge their children to go to bed on time?

  Question 1

Do children still need to get to school early?

For school hours, many parents are very entangled. On the one hand, they hope that their children can sleep more in the morning, on the other hand, they are worried that the teacher will delay their study in advance. After the "Sleep Order" issued by the Ministry of Education, will the school make overall arrangements for work and rest, and do children still need to get to school early?

Reasonable arrangement of work and rest to ensure students’ sleep time

Ding Lan, President of Puxun School in Beijing No.4 Middle School.

The primary and secondary school stage is the key period for students to grow up healthily and develop in an all-round way. Strong physique, happy mood and good living habits are all closely related to adequate sleep. The hippocampus of the brain is the key area of learning and memory. The more children get enough sleep, the larger the hippocampus related to memory and emotion, and the better the brain development. Therefore, adequate sleep is the premise for children to study efficiently and develop physically and mentally healthily.

In response to the request of the Ministry of Education, our school issued a letter to parents and friends at the first time, informing parents about students’ work and rest time and overall management of homework, reaching a consensus with parents, and jointly promoting autonomous management. At the same time, we have actively explored and tried to guide students to manage their sleep scientifically and promote their scientific work and rest. One of the important contents is to arrange students’ daily work and rest reasonably.

From the beginning of the school, the school enrollment strictly abides by the nearest admission policy. At present, most students in grades one to nine in our school live in the neighborhood around the school, and it takes about 5 to 15 minutes to walk to school. According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the school has formulated a schedule for going to and from school in batches. Students in grades seven to nine enter school at 7: 30 in the morning, students in grades five and six at 8: 00 in the morning, and students in grades one to four at 8: 15 in the morning. The first class of grades seven to nine starts at 8: 00 in the morning, and grades one to six start at 8: 20 in the morning. During recess and noon, according to the characteristics of students of different ages, each class adheres to the principle of combining work with rest and moderate exercise, and independently arranges the time and content of recess. Students can have lectures, lunch breaks, physical exercises, physical exercises, group activities, etc., to ensure students’ rest time and relax. School is also carried out in batches, and an efficient second study time is created for students. Students in need can study at school until 5: 30 pm.

In order not to increase the burden on students, our school requires all teachers to ensure the quality of the classroom, to be efficient in the classroom, and to fully implement the "burden reduction and quality improvement"; Optimize the quality and duration of homework, carry out hierarchical design of homework in senior grades, reasonably control the total amount of students’ written homework, and improve the effectiveness of homework; Take the class as a unit to coordinate the homework. If the total amount of homework is overtime, the class teacher can exercise the right to delete it. At the same time, communicate with parents in time to try to avoid the phenomenon that schools reduce burdens and families increase burdens; The school guides students to use electronic products reasonably, and does not arrange homework in the form of online completion and online punching. In addition to English listening and speaking practice for 30 minutes twice a week, students can do homework without using mobile phones.

In addition, the school also explores the course of sleep management, and incorporates scientific sleep publicity and education into the course teaching system to eliminate the phenomenon that students do not know enough about sleep problems and pay attention to them. Recently, the school has begun to try to popularize scientific sleep knowledge through physical education and health courses, mental health education, class team activities, etc., to remind students to relax and study moderately, and to help students improve their understanding of sleep management from thoughts and actions.

  Question 2

Can the teacher leave less homework?

Parents often complain that teachers leave too much homework, which causes children to write homework until late at night every day, and they are seriously deprived of sleep. They are listless in class the next day, and some children even fall asleep in class. Can the teacher improve in this respect and leave less homework?

Homework should be efficient and innovative.

Zhao Yihong, a teacher at Beijing No.5 Middle School Branch.

For a long time, the voice of "reducing the burden" for primary and secondary school students is very high. One of the important contents is to hope that teachers will give students less homework. As a class teacher and math teacher, I think students should be given proper and efficient homework to reduce mechanical brushing. At the same time, students also need to improve the efficiency of attending classes, so that they can write their homework with ease and not spend a lot of time.

The reason why the school keeps homework is to consolidate the knowledge learned in class, so that students can really master the knowledge points. Therefore, experienced teachers pay great attention to grasping the "degree" when they leave their homework, and will not win by quantity alone. Especially in a subject like mathematics, it is not effective to rely solely on rote memorization. Mastering ideas and methods is the right way. Usually, the homework I leave for students every day can be completed in about 40 minutes. Sometimes it is several big questions, and sometimes it is a paper. If students have questions that they can’t do, I don’t even want them to use software to search for answers and allow their homework to be "blank", because as long as they think hard, even if they can’t, they can understand it quickly after listening to the teacher’s explanation the next day.

I have done some research on students’ homework. Take the math course as an example. Usually, students who write fast can finish it in less than 20 minutes, while students who write slowly can really put it off until the early morning of the next day. Analysis, there are many reasons why homework is written after midnight. Some students have bad study habits and like to write while playing, dragging their feet; Some students don’t like the learning content arranged by their parents, and deliberately delay "dawdling" until their parents sleep first and then enjoy their free time; Other students are absent-minded in class and don’t listen to the lecture. As a result, they can’t do their homework at all, so they can only "get on the sedan chair and prick their ears now" and stay up late to make up for it. Of course, it does not rule out that there is indeed a lot of homework that day. For example, before the mid-term and final exams, teachers in all subjects will issue review materials, and there is a relatively large amount of homework.

In order to effectively reduce students’ academic burden, our school requires teachers to improve the teaching efficiency of each class, and at the same time, constantly innovate the form of homework, so that students can truly become the main body of learning. To this end, in addition to assigning traditional forms of homework, I will also assign homework to students. Specifically, it is to let students speak out the learning contents of each chapter, including definitions, formulas, key exercises and so on. By speaking with the mouth, gesturing with the hands, listening with the ears, and drawing with strokes, students can increase the retention rate and understanding of knowledge. Students should not only talk to the teacher, but also talk to each other, correct and judge each other. Because this kind of homework can be completed on campus, students who speak well can also win the treatment of not writing homework on holidays. Students are scrambling to talk about topics after class, and the learning atmosphere in the class is getting stronger and stronger.

In a word, to ensure students have enough sleep time, we must improve learning efficiency. To achieve this goal, teachers need to leave more "valuable homework", and parents need to help their children correct their wrong study habits, learn to allocate time reasonably, and develop self-disciplined will.

  Question 3

  How can the family guarantee?

  Children’s bedtime?

Some parents report that they also want their children to go to bed early, but the children are ungrateful and think they are nagging. In this regard, these parents are helpless and don’t know how to let their children go to bed early.

Find out the reasons that affect sleep with your child.

Zhao Zhiqin, Vice President of Cuiwei School affiliated to the National People’s Congress

The "Sleep Order" of the Ministry of Education clearly requires the bedtime of primary and secondary school students: primary school students are generally no later than 21: 20, junior high school students are generally no later than 22: 00, and senior high school students are generally no later than 23: 00. To truly implement and guarantee the sleep time of primary and secondary school students, home-school cooperation is essential. Here, I give some suggestions to parents based on my own education and teaching experience.

First, parents can communicate with their children through heart-to-heart communication, and objectively and comprehensively analyze the causes of insufficient sleep time. For example, whether the workload is really large or the efficiency of children’s homework is low, whether children have the habit of procrastination or their own knowledge points are not firmly grasped, whether it is the interference of electronic products such as mobile phones or the difficulty of homework itself, and so on. Every child is an independent individual, with different study and living habits, and the difference in academic level exists objectively, so the factors affecting sleep are bound to be different. Parents and children should find the problem together in a harmonious atmosphere and then come up with a solution.

Second, guide children to plan their study time reasonably. Children should copy the homework directory with notepad every day, make overall planning, arrange the sequence reasonably and estimate the time. It is suggested to do the most important content first, such as the problems that need a lot of thinking in science classes in the most awake and energetic period, which will help save time and improve efficiency. If there is a big difference between the estimated time and the actual completion time, the reasons should be analyzed in time and the methods should be adjusted. Finishing homework in a limited time is an important condition to improve the efficiency of homework, and it is also the key to accumulate exam experience at ordinary times.

Third, use the family environment to influence children subtly. When children do their homework, parents should not rush them frequently, but help them find and solve problems as far as they can. For example, you can check what children need to recite, listen to children’s analysis of test questions, discuss social hotspots or life problems with children, and negotiate to solve open test questions. Parents’ words and deeds and habits have a great influence on their children. Parents should also sleep on time if they want their children to sleep on time. If parents can’t go to bed early, they should also stop all noisy activities before their children go to bed. It is best not to play mobile phones, play games, watch TV or listen to the radio, etc., so as to create a good rest atmosphere for their children.

Fourth, don’t give children too much extra-curricular burden. Parents should agree with their children on the rules that need to be followed, including the schedule of work and rest, the use time of electronic products such as mobile phones, etc. Even on holidays, don’t break the rules easily, and gradually form a regular schedule. Before going to bed, parents can remind their children to drink some milk, etc., to ensure nutrition and improve the quality of sleep, and don’t nag and preach. Try not to increase children’s extra-curricular academic burden, such as enrolling in various remedial classes and interest classes, so as to avoid children spending time in remedial classes after school or holidays, forming double pressure inside and outside the school. Even if we cultivate the best and make up the bad, we should selectively improve or make up the leak moderately, and pay attention to quality instead of unilaterally pursuing quantity.

Sleep directly affects children’s academic level, which is related to their physical and mental health. Home and school should adhere to the concept of life and health first, and make reasonable efforts to ensure children’s sleep, so that children can grow up healthily and happily in a state of energy and pleasure.

  Question 4

What if the child can’t sleep?

Some parents say that it is not too late for their children to go to bed, but they can’t sleep in bed for a long time. What should they do?

Happy exercise helps children sleep well.

Zhang Jun, PE teacher of Runze School in Beijing Financial Street.

For primary and secondary school students in the growth and development period, sleep will undoubtedly have a greater impact on their health. Studies have shown that, in addition to heredity, among environmental factors, the influence of sleep on children’s height ranks first, and sleep will also affect children’s intellectual development, immunity and so on. In fact, having a good sleep is inseparable from sports.

First of all, physical exercise can produce endorphins, which is beneficial to sleep. Secondly, regular exercise can regulate the biological cycle rhythm, which is also called biological clock, and this effect is as strong as that of light on sleep. Thirdly, exercise will increase the body temperature. Doing some light exercise like walking before going to bed can promote the body temperature to rise, and the body will sweat slightly. After stopping, the body temperature will start to drop. Take a hot bath before going to sleep, and people can easily fall into deep sleep. Fourth, regular exercise can make people feel happy, help relieve stress, reduce waking up in dreams and relieve insomnia symptoms. Fifth, exercise below moderate level can make people feel slightly tired, speed up the time of falling asleep and deepen the depth of sleep.

Every winter and summer vacation, many children will form the habit of going to bed late and getting up late, but for a period of time after school starts, most of them can go to bed at normal time and enter a deep sleep state. This is closely related to the colorful physical exercises such as skipping rope, ball games, running and roller skating carried out by the school. Children are interspersed with happy exercise in intense study, fully engaged and released, and the heart rate of exercise can basically reach 120 to 150 times per minute, which not only exercises the body, relaxes the mood, relieves stress, but also promotes sleep. Therefore, during holidays, parents should also urge their children to take proper exercise. Except in special circumstances, reaching a certain amount of exercise every day is very helpful for improving the quality of sleep.

  Expert opinion

Behind children’s sleep is the education system engineering.

Liu Xi, deputy director and assistant researcher of Education Development Research Center of Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences.

Faced with the hard pressure of entrance examination, some schools extend students’ school hours at will, and off-campus training has become a common practice. Sleep for primary and secondary school students has become a soft problem that can be sacrificed, which has been difficult to solve effectively for many years, so that it has been paid attention to by the central government, and the state has issued documents for special treatment. The "Notice on Further Strengthening the Sleep Management of Primary and Secondary School Students" recently issued by the Ministry of Education puts forward seven measures from the aspects of "paying attention to it, ensuring time, preventing interference, improving quality and emphasizing monitoring and supervision", which embodies the spirit of comprehensive policy. Sleeping among primary and middle school students seems to be a simple problem, but it is actually an educational system project. Only when the government, schools, families, students and the society reach a consensus on scientific development can we consciously and effectively implement the measures in the Notice.

Have a scientific view of sleep. Sleep is a basic need of human beings. It can make us rest, make our bodies grow sturdily, enhance people’s immune function, and is the prime time to restore memory. Research by Jiang Fan’s team at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine shows that for children and adolescents who are in the rapid growth and development stage, sleep deprivation and biological rhythm disorder will not only cause short-term inattention, academic performance decline and other consequences, but also damage children’s brain function in the long run, leading to emotional and behavioral problems such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit and behavioral impulsion, significantly increasing the risk of metabolic diseases such as obesity, and damaging physical and mental health and academic development.

We should have a scientific view of educational evaluation. The General Plan for Deepening the Reform of Education Evaluation in the New Era and the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Education and Teaching and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council require "reforming students’ evaluation, promoting the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor" and "ensuring students’ adequate sleep time". The Statistical Index System of Education Monitoring and Evaluation in China (2020 Edition) has included students’ physical health compliance rate, students’ obesity rate and students’ poor eyesight rate in the index system. Sleep quality is closely related to these indicators, so it is necessary to incorporate students’ sleep status into the monitoring system of physical health monitoring and education quality evaluation.

We should have a scientific concept of educating people. Too much study squeezes sleep time, which is related to the educational concept of some school teachers and parents. The concept of exam-oriented education is prevalent, and repeated exercises are carried out through "brushing questions" in order to get high marks in the examination room. Even if school teachers take the initiative to reduce the burden, parents will report to various off-campus training classes and take the initiative to increase the burden. We should be soberly aware that the 21st century needs high-quality talents, especially innovative talents, so that the country and individual citizens can be in an invincible position. The concept of educating people in schools and families should also be changed. Instead of spending students’ rest time to win scores in the examination room, we should improve classroom efficiency, cooperate between home and school, teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and cultivate them individually. We should arrange the quantity and content of homework on the principle of necessity and pertinence so that every student can grow up healthily.

There must be a scientific learning method. Students’ main business is learning, and scientific learning methods help students complete their studies efficiently. Students who can learn can often manage themselves, work and rest regularly and go to bed on time. However, in practice, teachers are busy teaching knowledge, parents don’t know how to guide their children’s learning, and quite a few students don’t have correct learning methods. They are tired of coping with various courses and can’t arrange their time and work and rest as a whole, which naturally leads to a vicious circle. Effective learning is a science, which requires a deep understanding of brain science and psychology. We should teach teachers, parents and students the science of learning, master the correct methods, change passivity into initiative, and reduce learning anxiety, which will naturally help to improve students’ sleep quality.

Of course, in addition to raising awareness, it is necessary to use technical means and establish an accountability mechanism to effectively solve the sleep problem of primary and secondary school students. First of all, make full use of modern information technology to ensure that the end time of online live training activities should not be later than 21 o’clock, and no game service should be provided for minors from 22 o’clock to 8 o’clock the next day. Secondly, it is necessary to establish and improve the accountability mechanism, and give administrative sanctions or administrative penalties to schools, off-campus training institutions and online platforms that violate the regulations according to law.

After 20 years, we still miss 20 things about Leslie Cheung.

BEIJING, Beijing, April 1 (Reporter Ren Siyu) "The wind continues to blow and cannot bear to stay away." Another year, I miss Leslie Cheung.

Every year, we are asking why we still miss our brother.

The final answer is always that he is worth it.

Today, we have compiled twenty stories about Leslie Cheung, which you may have seen or heard for the first time. I hope we can get closer to him from these short stories.

  1.

In 1977, 21-year-old Leslie Cheung was dragged by a friend to participate in the Asian Singing Contest held by Li’s TV. With the 20 yuan given to him by her servant, she took a tram all the way to Central, took a Star Ferry across the sea, and then took a bus to the TV station. She paid a registration fee of 5 yuan and sang "American Pie". As a result, she was promoted all the way, and finally won the runner-up in Hong Kong, making her official debut.

  2.

Young Karen Mok witnessed Leslie Cheung’s award-winning debut. At that time, Karen Mok was often brought flowers by her mother, a top TV executive. She described her brother in white as a handsome "Prince Charming" and felt sorry that he didn’t win the first prize. Later, she always said, "I am sure that I am the first’ fan’ in the world!"

  3.

Leslie Cheung loves playing mahjong. He once played mahjong for seven days and seven nights in the New Year. When someone comes to pay a New Year call, he will say "Congratulations on getting rich" and then play again. He also called a group of friends to hold the "Guorong Cup" mahjong competition, and specially created a trophy for this purpose. In 2021, Su Shihuang, the champion of that year, launched the "Guorong Cup" self-challenge, encouraging everyone to strive to break through themselves, and finally gave the "Guorong Cup" to a fan.

   4.

Around 1986, Hong Kong’s music scene gradually formed a situation of "Tan Zhang vying for hegemony", and the fans of the two were even more contended. One year at the jade solid gold Awards Ceremony, Alan Tam was not present in Australia, and Leslie Cheung took the stage to receive the award, but the audience was booed. Halfway through the song, he stopped and said, "It takes a short time for some people to achieve something. Some people have to take a long time to get something, but at least what I am getting now is something I have taken very hard. "

  5.

In 1989, Leslie Cheung announced his retirement from the music scene, and held 33 farewell concerts in the Red Pavilion, and countless people shed tears at the scene. At that time, he promised his fans that he would open a coffee shop in the future, and everyone could exchange the ticket stub for the first cup of free coffee. Seven years later, Leslie Cheung really kept his promise and opened a coffee shop.

  6.

In Canada, Leslie Cheung spent a vast leisure time. Occasionally, a deer stole flowers from his neighbor’s house, and he named it Bambi. But later, his residence in Vancouver became a tourist attraction. One day he was smoking on the balcony and found a tour group outside. The tour guide was saying, "That’s Leslie Cheung’s house!"

  7.

Before filming Farewell My Concubine, Leslie Cheung had never been exposed to Peking Opera. Chen Kaige had found body double for him, but Leslie Cheung practiced hard every day, and his every move was with a play, and he was extremely savvy. Zhang Manling Shi Yansheng, a famous Peking Opera artist, and his wife are Leslie Cheung’s instructors. One day, Shi Yansheng arrived at the set early and found that Leslie Cheung was already in leg press, and his face was red. "Nothing, I sweated and practiced." Later, I learned that he was still practicing with a fever of more than 39 degrees.

  8.

In 1993, Farewell My Concubine premiered in Shanghai, which was the first time that Leslie Cheung came to Shanghai. When interviewed, he said with a smile, "After watching the previous series, everyone felt that Shanghai is a very beautiful place, so I am a very beautiful person, so I am very suitable."

  9.

Just spent more than a month together while filming, Leslie Cheung and Zhang Manling Shi Yansheng became friends, and they visited every time they went to Beijing, and they were even more hospitable when they went to Hong Kong. Later, when she learned that Shi Yansheng had cancer, Leslie Cheung flew to visit and sat on the bench to coax her teacher to eat egg custard: "We are half-eaten, you take a bite, and I will take a bite to see who eats more …"

  10.

In 1995, Leslie Cheung released the album "Favorite" and made a comeback. In 1998, Rolling Stone held a grand press conference for him to renew his contract. At the meeting, there was a cheque handing-over ceremony. Facing the blank cheque written by Rolling Stone, Leslie Cheung first wrote a "4". When everyone guessed the price at the back, they found that he had written the word "friendship".

  11.

There was once a 19-year-old patient with advanced bone cancer named "Sheng Zi", whose greatest wish was to meet his idol Leslie Cheung. Later, Leslie Cheung really came to the hospital quietly with a signed record. He not only comforted the fans gently, but also promised him that he would call every day. The only condition was to keep it secret. It was not until the hospital published a book in 2009 that everyone knew about it.

  12.

One day, a young man was smoking on the balcony of a radio station when suddenly a hoarse voice came from behind: "I can quit smoking, so can you." Your voice is so good, take care of it. " Before I could react, my brother had already walked away. Later, the young man sang the idol song in tears at the concert. He was Eason Chan.

  13.

In 2000, Leslie Cheung held many "Hot Love" concerts. He personally assumed the role of artistic director, with bold and avant-garde modeling, and vividly interpreted both sides of angel and devil. At the concert, he told the audience, "The most important thing for people is that you know how to love others, and the most important thing is that you know and appreciate yourself."

  14.

Everyone knows that Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung, is a brother and sister. Director Guan Jinpeng recalls that Anita Mui was the first choice for making "Rouge Kou" in those years, and was not Leslie Cheung. But at that time, they belonged to different companies, and Anita Mui patted his chest. I went to make a movie for them in New Art City and changed Leslie Cheung into "Rouge Kou"!

  15.

In 2002, Leslie Cheung gave a speech at the Humanities Museum of the New Asia College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and shared his experience in the interpretation of roles such as Twelve Shaos and Cheng Dieyi. "I think an actor should have no hesitation and create life for his own role, so that the actor can shuttle between different lives and let the role live truly and vividly.

  16.

Leslie Cheung once joked that he and Wong Kar-wai were "out of character" and filmed The True Story of Teddy Boy. He and Andy Lau ran desperately at the railway station, filmed ashes of time and got stung by scorpions, and filmed Spring Break with Amoeba virus in Argentina, only with the help of Tony Leung Chiu Wai did they get through the difficulties. After this robbery, he sighed with emotion: "I think I will cherish a lot, life, friends."

  17.

Inner senses in 2002 was the last film made by Leslie Cheung before his death, but producer and screenwriter Tung shing Yee won’t watch it again. He knew that Leslie Cheung was afraid of heights, and a scene of jumping off a building had been filmed for more than an hour, but he still dared not take a step with a rope tied. Later, he always wondered whether the idea of his brother standing by the building was established by shooting this film. "I don’t know what it is, I will ask him again in the future."

  18.

There is also director Tsui Hark who sealed his work. At that time, he had made an appointment with Leslie Cheung to make a film "Mr. Wang". It was clearly agreed to meet at 10 o’clock, but he got a call after 7 o’clock. He didn’t have to go tonight. Mr. Leslie Cheung passed away. "Mr. Wang" will not be filmed again. "I don’t know who to find to play this role, and I can’t play this character."

  19.

In The Story of Teddy Boy, Leslie Cheung told a story about "sleep in the wind". This bird can only land once in its life, and that’s when it dies. Later, many people will think of my brother’s departure. However, director Wong Kar-wai never thought that "he was a bird falling". "After leaving for so many years, everyone was still so impressed with him, so he actually continued to fly."

   20.

In 2013, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, who was sitting alone on the stage at the Leslie Cheung Memorial Music Evening, said:

"There is one thing I want to tell you, not long after you left, my mobile phone still has your phone number.

Once I accidentally dialed the wrong number, and then I heard a familiar voice: Please leave a message, please leave a message.

At that time, I left a message on the phone, and I said, why don’t we start from the beginning? "

Professor Feng Quansheng’s discussion on COVID-19 from the perspective of plague theory in the micro-classroom of war "epidemic"

● Guide reading

Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has a large number of famous experts in traditional Chinese medicine. Li Sichi, Song Lubing and Zhang Zhiwen have accumulated rich experience in the prevention and treatment of schistosomiasis and leptospirosis in the 1960s, and in the prevention and treatment of SARS, avian influenza and post-disaster epidemic prevention in recent years. They are well-known in the theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and plagues. Feng Quansheng, Dean of School of Basic Medicine, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has devoted himself to the study of plague theory for a long time, advocated the establishment of a theoretical system of modern infectious diseases of traditional Chinese medicine, edited and published an innovative textbook of Plague Science, and offered courses with plague characteristics to promote the development of plague theory of traditional Chinese medicine.

The concept of plague

The epidemic in COVID-19 since the end of last year belongs to the category of "plague" from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine. Plague, "Etymology" is interpreted as: "Epidemic disease, an acute infectious disease caused by people or livestock and poultry." Then explain that plague is "the floorboard of acute infectious diseases". It can be seen that plague and epidemic disease have the same meaning, so Liu Songfeng once said: "The word’ plague’ is a string of words. If it is called plague, it is also true." Epidemic, "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" is interpreted as: "All people are sick." Wu Youke, Liu Songfeng and other epidemiologists have further elaborated on it, pointing out that "(epidemic) is like the battle of corvee, and everyone is equal." "Taking it as a disease, it is the same for all households, like corvee. Go to’ Yi’ and add’ Qi’, but take the ear related to the word "disease".

Classification of plague

According to the nature of the disease, plague can be divided into three types: warm epidemic, cold epidemic and miscellaneous epidemic.

The Special Pathogenic Factors of Plague and the Location of the Disease

Plague scientists emphasize that plague is caused by special pathogenic factors. For example, Wu Youke thinks that it is felt by miscellaneous gas, and Yang Lishan is the master of it; Liu Songfeng believes that it is caused by pathogenic poison; Yu Lin believes that it is a change of luck, and it is a disease for flourishing qi. Plague has a relatively stable lesion site, such as Wu Youke’s theory, which lies in the membrane and spreads to the stomach; Yang Lishan’s narrator, evil spirits are depressed and triple energizer; Yu Lin believes that the evil poison is full of Yangming.

Characteristics of plague experts in treating epidemic diseases

Plague scientists study a kind of exogenous fever which is caused by special pathogenic factors, threatens healthy people and develops in an epidemic way. Therefore, in order to control its spread, effective diagnosis and treatment principles and treatment methods are extremely critical.

First, it tends to look for specific drugs for the treatment of the cause; The second is to pay attention to the choice of drugs that go directly to the hospital. In order to effectively hit the pathogenic factors, the prescriptions used by plague scientists are mostly directed at the pathogenesis, with stable prescriptions and few drugs. For example, Wu can use Dayuan drink first, and then use Chengqi to attack; Yu Lin’s Qingwen Baidu drink, "No matter from beginning to end, this side is the main one"; Although there are more than 10 purgative and purgative drugs in Yanglishan, the principle of prescription is basically the same, "and the general prescription of ascending and descending is also".

Taking the past as a mirror, the treatment prescription is stable, which is convenient for the public to prevent and treat, and it is also easier to observe the curative effect. For example, in the year of Ganlong Wuzi (1768), Tongcheng epidemic was prevalent, and in the year of Ganlong Guichou (1793), there was a great plague in the capital, all of which were given with Qingwen Baidu drink, and all of them were in Huo Ran.

The guiding significance of studying pestilence to the prevention and treatment of COVID-19

For thousands of years, the theory of epidemic disease has played an important role in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and made important contributions to the reproduction of the Chinese nation. Therefore, today, we should be eclectic and systematically sort out the plague theories of past dynasties to guide the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 today. The excavation and arrangement of pestilence is not only the need for human beings to face the challenge of acute infectious diseases, but also the enrichment and deepening of the academic thought and content of epidemic febrile diseases. Plague, as a major supplement to epidemic febrile diseases, is bound to help improve the level of prevention and treatment of acute infectious diseases in traditional Chinese medicine and enrich the means and methods of treatment in traditional Chinese medicine.

Don’t just stare at the female Durban, let’s take a look at the welfare "women’s halls" in Japan and South Korea.

Recently, because of the news that "Sun Nan’s daughter was sent to Durban by her stepmother", Durban has once again appeared in people’s field of vision. Female Durban first appeared in the news on September 21, 2014. Voice of China News Night reported that "Never fight back, scold back, submit to adversity and never divorce". These 16 words were described as the four basic principles of "female morality" advocated by the school. This kind of female Durban blooms all over the country, from Beijing, Shandong and Hebei to Shaanxi, Guangdong and Hainan. In the summer of 2018, someone in Wenzhou called a group of children aged 8 to 13 to attend Durban in the name of parent-child summer camp. They make children kneel in class and teach them sensational views on female morality.

Do South Korea and Japan, both in the East Asian cultural circle, have such a female Durban?

According to the author, South Korea and Japan do not have such a so-called women’s Durban, but the two governments have opened women’s clubs for women to learn traditional culture and housework skills. Women’s clubs in Korea and Japan are not only for women to learn to be housewives, but also for developing women’s abilities and improving women’s happiness.

Women’s Clubs and Women’s Development Institutes in Korea

The Women’s Club is a social welfare and educational institution for women set up by the Korean government. Korean women’s clubs were originally called women’s welfare halls or women’s career halls, and now some of them have been renamed women’s development centers. At that time, the Korean government established the Korean Social Welfare Consultative Council in February 1952 and the National Women’s Protection Federation in November 1955.

After the 1960s, the Korean government officially started to improve national welfare, and in November 1963, the Korean government enacted laws related to social security. While the national living environment in South Korea is rising, the Korean government has begun to focus on the living conditions of Korean women. In order to improve women’s ability and promote women to enter the society, the Korean government has set up women’s clubs in administrative units at all levels. Up to now, there are 119 public women’s clubs and 10 private women’s clubs in Korea.

Exterior of Busan Women’s Club

Take the capital of South Korea as an example. In November 1959, Seoul City Government (now Seoul) set up a women’s welfare hall and a women’s career hall respectively. In 1979, the two halls were merged into one institution. In September 1996, the women’s clubhouse was renamed as a women’s development center, and four branches were set up in the city. In September, 2003, the Seoul Metropolitan Government officially passed the Regulations on the Establishment of Women’s Development Centers, which mentioned that "Women’s Development Centers should provide lifelong education for women, so as to enhance women’s ability, let women actively participate in social life and improve their quality of life".

Activities organized by women’s clubs all over Korea

Korean women’s clubs represent the importance that the Korean government attaches to the development of women’s social welfare. Most of the funds for women’s clubs come from the government and social organizations. The Women’s Guild Hall mainly offers family etiquette courses, food, clothing, housing and housework courses, yoga courses, technical training courses, etc. for women aged 13-55, and also launches public welfare activities such as consumer protection publicity. There are generally auditoriums and rooms in women’s clubs, which provide convenience for women to carry out various activities inside. Recently, the main task of the Korean Women’s Guild Hall is to improve women’s employability, especially for women without skills, providing a variety of technical training courses. The women’s club will announce the course information and registration method to the public in advance, and the training period of a course is four months.

Some courses and tuition fees recently offered by Busan Women’s Club.

In addition, the Korean government established the Korean Women’s Development Institute in order to investigate and study women-related issues, conduct education and training aimed at developing women’s abilities and support women’s activities, and contribute to improving women’s participation and welfare.

The Korea Women’s Development Institute was established in 1983 according to the Korean Women’s Development Institute Act, and it is a specialized institution for women’s issues funded by the government. The women’s development institute aims to change the traditional Korean awareness of women’s differences and realize a society of equality between men and women. That is, to create a social environment in which men and women are jointly involved and responsible, to improve the laws and systems related to the differences between men and women in Korean society, to expand women’s participation in the process of government policy-making, to improve the political status of Korean women, to realize women’s self-worth, and to improve the quality of life.

Japan female education club

In the 1970s, Japanese women’s daily study place was the "Citizen’s Pavilion", while the place where Japanese women carried out group activities was the Women’s Guild Hall, with more than 50 in China. In 1977, in response to the long-standing demands of women educators such as women’s groups, the Ministry of Education of Japan established the only national professional institution for women’s education in Japan, with the aim of systematizing various measures related to women’s education.

The chart shows the strategy of Sakai city government in Japan for cities and employment in 2017.assessment report, which evaluates the women’s reading club.

At the beginning, the purpose of the guild hall was to "carry out practical training for women educators, carry out professional investigation and research related to women’s education, so as to revitalize women’s education". It was established as a comprehensive lifelong education institution for adults with information centers and international conference venues and other related facilities and equipment. There are four main functions of the guild hall: training, communication (including international communication), investigation and research and information supply related to women’s education and family education. There are two projects in the clubhouse: hosting projects and providing services to people who study for life through clubhouse facilities.

Since 1980, the guild hall has hosted lectures on women’s studies. At first, the lectures mainly introduced women’s studies, but through joint planning with women’s studies staff, it has gradually become an information exchange place for providing women’s studies research and educational practice activities, and has become a bridge between women’s studies theory and practice, making contributions to popularizing women’s studies research, education and learning in Japanese higher education and social education. The research on women’s education and family education carried out by the guild hall has two characteristics: one is interdisciplinary, and the other is practical. The joint research undertaken by scholars and practitioners in related research fields has created practical results that are not bound by existing academic circles.

Liu Xiaofeng, deputy director of Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, introduced:From 0: 00 to 15: 00 on November 28, new local COVID-19 virus infections were added.2086 casesAmong them, there were 1907 isolated observers and 179 social screening personnel.

Liu Xiaofeng said,The number of newly reported cases in Beijing is still at a high level, and the epidemic situation in Chaoyang District continues to be high. The epidemic situation in the fast-growing areas has expanded, and the epidemic situation in some sporadic areas has increased significantly.

Beijing: Strengthening the detection of nucleic acid detection points to prevent cross infection.

Xu Hejian, spokesman of Beijing Municipal Government, said:Further optimize nucleic acid detection to achieve safe, orderly and high quality. It is necessary to adhere to the principle of rational, orderly and convenient nucleic acid detection, scientifically coordinate the layout, personnel organization and time arrangement of nucleic acid detection points, and further strengthen the detection of nucleic acid detection points to prevent cross-infection. It is necessary to continuously optimize the process of "collection, delivery, inspection, reporting and verification" to improve the speed, quality and effect of detection, screening and yang chasing. It is necessary to concentrate on improving the quality and efficiency of nucleic acid detection in key epidemic-related townships, quickly find the source of risk, and effectively cut off the chain of epidemic transmission.

Some supermarkets and pre-warehouses were temporarily shut down, and nearly 30% of riders were blocked.

Guo Wenjie, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said:At present, the epidemic situation in Beijing is grim, and the epidemic prevention and control is in a critical period. As the number of people living at home continues to increase, the online demand for residents’ living materials continues to grow. From the daily order, it is about 10% ~ 20% higher than the daily order of 3 million before the epidemic. At the same time, affected by the epidemic, some supermarkets and pre-warehouses were temporarily shut down, nearly 30% of riders were blocked, and the delivery of orders was restricted to some extent. The average daily delivery volume of on-the-job riders increased by nearly 80% compared with daily life.

Overall,At present, the online platform goods in the city are sufficient and the price is stable, but in some areas and some time periods, there have been problems of tight transportation capacity and delayed delivery. In the face of the sudden epidemic, the supplier companies race against time to organize the supply of goods, and the takeaway brother spares no effort to take orders for distribution, which basically guarantees the living needs of the general public. The supply network involved in the epidemic requires quick sealing and quick solution. In principle, it should be disposed of and reopened within 24 hours.Guo Wenjie, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said:In order to ensure the needs of people’s livelihood, the outlets of the supply sites should be fully opened, and the stocking volume should be increased by 3 ~ 5 times daily. For the supply-guarantee outlets involved in the epidemic, it is required to seal and solve them quickly. In principle, it should be disposed of and reopened within 24 hours, and the closing time should not exceed 72 hours at most.At the same time, establish a green pass mechanism to guarantee the supply of vehicles to ensure that all outlets replenish goods 24 hours a day.Do not empty the rack and keep the goods..Multi-channel recovery of delivery capacity

Guo Wenjie, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said:Since the outbreak of the epidemic in April 2022, in order to coordinate the epidemic prevention of take-away riders and the distribution of living materials, we have established a "white list" mechanism for suppliers, and strengthened epidemic prevention measures through "four falls and five guarantees", that is, losing identity, store warehouse, distribution area and residential address; Make sure that the nucleic acids are not 0 and 1, and that the results without antigen are not on duty. Make sure to wear N95 mask all the time, make sure that the hands are disinfected before delivery, and make sure that there is no contact distribution in the risk area. It has played an important role in ensuring the supply of daily necessities in Beijing by forming a supply team with strengthened protection and flexible deployment to minimize the number of staff involved in the epidemic or become a source of infection.

Since the current epidemic, in the face of severe epidemic prevention situation and supply pressure, the number of "white list" personnel has rapidly expanded from 5,000 to 40,000 in two weeks. In addition, take-away enterprises are encouraged to increase the recruitment of riders by increasing the commission ratio and setting up incentives such as running orders, and to supplement the transportation capacity as soon as possible by coordinating the allocation of manpower in different regions and sharing labor with catering enterprises.

Establish emergency safeguard mechanism of vegetable through train

Guo Wenjie, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said:At present, there are 356 municipal vegetable through trains in 15 through train enterprises, which can provide direct supply services for vegetables and other necessities for about 500 communities and meet the needs of 3 million residents. In addition, 50 postal vehicles have been prepared to form a reserve mobile force, which can be put into distribution at any time. Dynamically monitor the supply of daily necessities in various regions, and the urban commercial department will make timely judgments.Organize through trains at any time to send vegetables and other necessities to communities in need, so as to facilitate residents to buy them.

"Food is the most important thing for the people", and the daily life security of ordinary people is a huge matter, which cannot be stopped for a moment. This is the top priority of our work. People, cars, goods, markets, stores and warehouses are all indispensable. The business department will mobilize various forces to do the best to ensure the supply of living materials for citizens.

Do a good job in ensuring the daily medical service for people at risk of epidemic.

Wang Xiaoe, member of the Party Committee and spokesperson of the Beijing Municipal Health and Wellness Committee, introduced:In order to do a good job in ensuring medical service for epidemic-related risk personnel in high-risk areas, home isolation, centralized isolation, etc., and meet the daily medical needs of residents during the epidemic, the medical treatment and hospital prevention team closely followed the epidemic prevention and control situation, adhered to problem-oriented, closely coordinated with departments, coordinated medical resources, and further optimized and adjusted the daily medical service guarantee measures for epidemic-related risk personnel to ensure that medical services were not interrupted or delayed, and guaranteed people’s life safety and health.

The first is to implement classified protection and respond quickly to the needs of the masses for medical treatment.Arrange the situation of children, pregnant women, long-term dialysis patients, tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy patients, critical patients and other key personnel involved in the epidemic, establish a work account, and inform critical patients to dial 120. For other non-critical patients who seek medical treatment daily, the medical team and community workers keep the telephone open for 24 hours to respond and solve the medical needs of residents in time.

The second is to establish a docking mechanism to meet the needs of medical treatment in various ways.Establish a docking mechanism between communities (villages), medical teams, community health service institutions and designated hospitals. When people involved in epidemic risk have daily medical needs, they will dock with medical teams or community health service institutions in time, and arrange medical personnel to meet medical medication and health needs through online diagnosis and treatment and drug delivery. For the epidemic-related risk personnel who need to go out for medical treatment, if it is really necessary to go to the designated hospital after judgment, the medical team or community health service institutions will coordinate and dock with the hospital.

The third is to improve the transshipment measures and smooth the channels for going out for medical treatment. In the closed control area, a mass medical support motorcade can be set up, and social vehicle assistance services can be provided when people involved in epidemic risk need to go out for medical treatment; For epidemic-related risk personnel who have the ability to drive by themselves or their families to accompany them to the hospital for medical treatment, they are encouraged to take private cars for medical treatment, unblock medical channels, and inform them well; For self-driving medical treatment, the bayonet in each control area should be released in time; Medical institutions should make good preparations for consultation, and medical institutions should not refuse to accept consultation because people involved in epidemic risk go to see a doctor on their own.

The fourth is to implement closed-loop management to ensure the safety of going out for medical treatment.People at risk of epidemic going out for medical treatment must do personal protection in the whole process, implement closed-loop management, and return to closed-loop immediately after medical treatment. Medical support vehicles that undertake the task of transferring people with epidemic risk should be dedicated to special vehicles, with physical isolation between the cab and the carriage, equipped with protective equipment in the vehicle, and the driver should strictly regulate and do personal protection to ensure the safety of going out for medical treatment and minimize the risk of social spillover.
