The connecting line of Shanghai Airport ushered in the first run-through interval, and the domestic super-large shield successfully completed the "underwater" reception

This is the first shield machine to receive the airport connecting line, which is of great significance for the construction of the whole line.
The reporter learned that the "Meifu Road Working Well-Huajing Station" section of the third bid of the Shanghai regional railway airport connecting line, which was built by Jiushi Group Shentie Company and the Shanghai Tunnel of Tunnel Co., Ltd., ushered in the whole line and became the first connecting section of the Shanghai regional airport connecting line project.
The super-large-diameter shield "Qiyue" independently developed and manufactured by Shanghai Tunnel has successively passed through the high-voltage tower, the viaduct of Hongmei South Road, the subway line 15 and the complicated water, gas, electricity and communication pipelines in different complicated soil layers, and then successfully completed the underwater reception in the receiving well of Huajing Station, thus drawing a satisfactory full stop for its "first show trip".
It is reported that "Qiyue" shield machine started from Meifu Road working well on April 18th, 2021. During the nearly 10 months’ construction, it passed through 220 kV high-voltage iron tower, raw water pipe, Hongmei South Road viaduct and ground bridge, rail transit line 15 and other important buildings and structures at close range, and excavated 255 rings (510 meters) in a single month, setting a record for "single-hole hoisting, over-large diameter".
The foundation pit of Huajing Station, which received the "Qiyue" shield, has the largest construction scale and depth among the rail transit stations built or under construction in Shanghai so far. The deepest part of the foundation pit is 44 meters, and the receiving section will involve micro-confined soil, so the construction conditions are complicated. It is only 60 meters away from Huajing West Station on Line 15, so the risk of conventional reception is greater.
Combined with the previous experience of receiving water in the west section of the North Cross Passage, the construction unit also adopted the underwater reception, that is, after breaking the tunnel door, the water was reinjected, and after reinjecting to a certain height, the internal and external pressure balance could be guaranteed during the shield reception, thus effectively reducing the probability of risk.
With the opening of "Meifu Road Work Well-Huajing Station" section, the construction of Shanghai Airport Link is proceeding in an orderly way. This traffic line connecting Hongqiao International Airport and Pudong International Airport shortens the transit time between the two comprehensive transportation hubs within 40 minutes, which is convenient for passengers traveling along the line and benefits thousands of people.
