BYD Seal HD Big Picture Three Endurance Versions／Up to 700km

These pictures show us more clear design information of seals. The new car will provide three endurance versions in the future, namely 550 km, 650 km and 700 km. At the same time, according to the previous information, the future price range of new cars may be around 220,000-280,000.
In terms of appearance, the seal is based on the concept of marine aesthetic design, and the new design makes it younger and has stronger new energy attributes. The seal’s body lines are smooth and stretched, emphasizing the proportional relationship between the parts of the body. The super-long wheelbase of 2920mm and the sliding back roof show the elegance of the sports coupe. In addition, the undulating posture of the front cabin cover and the uplift of the rear wheel arch also show a certain dynamic style.
In terms of details, in addition to the sharp "flying shuttle" headlights, the water ripple design on both sides of the front bumper is very eye-catching, and it is expected that there will be good recognition after lighting. In addition, we also noticed that compared with the official video released before, in this picture, the decoration of the triangular window in front of the seal D column has changed, and the water drop element has replaced the previous layered design, which is more in line with the design concept of marine aesthetics.
This set of official maps also shows us richer tail details. The penetrating taillight is like two interrelated water drops. Besides the point light source with parametric distribution, there are delicate luminous lines running through the left and right, which become the visual center of the whole taillight.
The design of the rear bumper of the new car is also very distinctive. It is independent of the whole rear of the car in the form of relief, which reminds people of the shape of the seal tail fin and skillfully responds to the theme of "seal". At the same time, the lower part also has a diversion structure to enhance the aerodynamic effect, and through color contrast, the visual effect is very fierce, further strengthening the sense of movement at the rear of the car.
In terms of power, according to the information disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Seals will provide three endurance models. The standard endurance model is equipped with a 150kW rear motor with a maximum cruising range of 550km；. The long battery life version is equipped with a 230kW rear motor with a maximum driving range of 700km；. Before and after the top four-wheel drive version, the total power of the motor reaches 390kW, the maximum driving range is 650km, and the zero acceleration takes only 3.8 seconds.
As a masterpiece of BYD e platform 3.0 technology, BYD Seal will adopt a series of advanced technologies, including battery body integration (CTB), eight-in-one electric powertrain, heat pump system and booster fast charging. At the same time, with the empowerment of E platform 3.0 technology, the hard-core strength of seals can not be ignored. The rear drive/four-wheel drive power architecture, front double wishbone and rear five-link chassis suspension are expected to have good performance in sports attributes and driving texture.
